Hulu Animayhem
In 2023, over one billion hours of adult animation content has been streamed on Hulu, along with over 288 million hours of anime content. To solidify Hulu’s perception as the animation destination, we launched a new sub-brand focused on adult animation and anime called Animayhem. The new hub was meant to capitalize on Hulu’s already popular lineup of shows that includes “Bob’s Burgers,” “Family Guy,” “Futurama” and “Simpsons.” The launch campaign was crafted leveraging the Hulu voice and Hulu’s unique color green as an agent of fun and chaos. The platform achieved 50% of awareness in only one year, supported content engagement and generated more than 4 billion impressions. For over two years, Hulu Animayhem was elected the best brand experience at San Diego Comic Con and Anime Expo allowing more than 12,000 fans to immerse themselves with our shows.
